Finally, have your local air conditioning company come do a “check up” on your AC unit. Simple maintenance can help clean the air conditioner and make sure that it’s running properly. They will also be able to see if there are any potential problems before they become worse. You should have regular maintenance done a few times per year, but the beginning of summer is crucial because if something is malfunctioning, you may need to get a replacement cooling unit.
